Booking & Payments

How do I book an experience?

Browse our catalog of experiences, select the one you love, and add it to your cart. When you’re ready, proceed to checkout and complete your payment securely via Paystack. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details for your booking.

How do payments work?

All payments are processed securely through Paystack. You can pay using your debit/credit card, bank transfer, or USSD. Payments are split automatically between BeachBook and the experience vendor, ensuring a seamless transaction for everyone.

Can I cancel or modify a booking?

Yes! Head to your My Bookings page to view, modify, or cancel your upcoming bookings. Please note that cancellation policies vary by vendor — some may offer full refunds up to 24 hours before the experience, while others may have different terms.

Is my payment information safe?

Absolutely. We use Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, to handle all transactions. Your card details are never stored on our servers and all data is encrypted end-to-end during transmission.

Your Experience

What should I bring to a boat trip?

We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, comfortable clothing, and a towel. Some trips may provide life jackets and refreshments, but check the specific listing details for what’s included. Don’t forget your camera to capture the moments!

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions make the experience unsafe, the vendor will contact you to reschedule to a suitable date. If rescheduling isn’t possible, you’ll receive a full refund to your original payment method.

How do I find the meeting point?

Your confirmation email will include the exact meeting point address along with GPS coordinates and a map link. If you have trouble finding the location, contact the vendor directly using the phone number provided in your booking confirmation.

Account & General

Do I need an account to book?

Yes, you’ll need a free BeachBook account to complete a booking. Creating an account is quick and easy — just provide your name, email, and a password. This lets you track your bookings, leave reviews, and receive updates.

I’m a venue owner. How do I list my beach?

We’d love to have you on BeachBook! Visit our For Vendors page to learn more about partnering with us. You can apply to list your beach, venue, or experience and start receiving bookings from our growing community of beach lovers.

How can I leave a review?

After completing an experience, head to your My Bookings page. You’ll find a “Leave Review” option next to each completed booking. Your feedback helps other guests discover great experiences and helps vendors improve their offerings.
